OUR STORY
Curated. Loved. Yours.
HOW IT STARTED
It started simply — trying to furnish a home. But what began as a practical exercise turned into something much more. An old phonograph. A beautifully made oak sideboard. Pieces that had lived real lives, in real homes, with real families.
The thrill of the local market. The conversation with the seller who still remembers where the piece came from. The satisfaction of knowing you're giving something a second life instead of buying something disposable.
Today, my husband, John, and I are grateful to share that passion with others. More than simply selling antique furniture, our desire is to serve with honesty, care, and integrity, striving to glorify God in everything we do. We hope each piece we find brings beauty, character, and lasting enjoyment to your home, just as it has to ours.
Corinthians 10:31
WHAT WE BELIEVE
01
Every piece we sell is one less thing manufactured, one less item in landfill. Quality old things deserve a second chapter.
02
Furniture made 60 years ago was often built better than what you can buy today. We seek out the pieces that prove it.
03
We love hearing the stories — and we pass them on. Every piece comes with what we know about where it's been.
THE PERSON BEHIND IT
Founder & Curator
Liz has been a collector for as long as she can remember. As a child, the things she collected changed over the years, but the heart behind it never did—a love for finding and appreciating things with character and meaning.
When she was simply trying to furnish her home, that lifelong passion found a new direction—and never stopped. What began with a phonograph became a full collection of character pieces: dining sets, bedroom furniture, home décor, and specialty finds from local markets and estate sales across Manitoba.
She runs Liz's Antiques as a stay-at-home mom, finding pieces she genuinely loves before passing them on to people who will love them too. Every sale comes with a story. Every piece is chosen and sold with care.
